The standard in square fence posts are 5" x 5" nominal (4-1/2" x 4-1/2" actual). The Posts come in standard length of 10'. They are 'ground contact' retention. A manufacturer chemical warranty applies.

Round pressure treated posts are a mainstay in New England. They are typically 5" in diameter and 8'6" long. These types of posts are not warrantied.
