The standard in square fence posts are 5" x 5" nominal (4-1/2" x 4-1/2" actual). The Posts come in standard length of 10'. They are 'ground contact' retention. A manufacturer chemical warranty applies.

Round pressure treated posts are a mainstay in New England. They are typically 5" in diameter and 8'6" long. These types of posts are not warrantied.

Round "King" Fence Posts
Similar in nature to the "Peeler Core" Fence Posts, the "King" posts are 5" in diameter and 9' in length. The difference is, these posts are treated to a 'ground contact' retention and come with a chemical warranty against decay.
